I have been romanticizing about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail for years now. I settled with hiking the John Muir Trail in the summer of 2018. I wanted my JMT experience to determine if long distance backpacking was for me. If I can live outside for 3 weeks, can I live outside for 5 months?
This is a non-technical blog where I focus mostly on my experience and day-to-day life on the John Muir Trail. I kept a very small journal where I wrote every day at the end of the night while laying in my tent. I have now compiled all those written entries and submitted them here so that in 30 years I can come back and relive my experience in detail. How I felt each day, what I thought, what I saw, who I spoke to and who I met, the struggles and my most fondest memories that I never want to forget.
I have left my heart and soul on the John Muir Trail forever, read my entries and you might understand why. If you don’t understand, then I challenge you to take the trip and find out for yourself.
Eeee cuz have the best time promise I’m sure it will be so worth it and its it’s something different good luck I wanna see more k!
